Oh if there were only more hours in the day, I would be a prolific reader, modern quilter, home maker extraordinaire, gourmet chef, super mom and then train for LOTOJA in my spare time.

I'm whining because my latest project has me stumped. I don't like it. It needs a little punch. I've got a few ideas but nothing I'm ready to commit to yet...

And I chickened out (or wimped out) on most of the handmade gifts this year but at least one made the cut. I'm having so much fun sewing with linen! And I found some really good stuff at (of all places...) Joann's. But it's apparently a summer fabric and they are out...so it's small projects for now.

Well it was definitely not a handmade Christmas around here (Legos are hard to fabricate...hehe) but I did whip up a little somethin' for some of the women in my life. Oh the fun I had with my scrap drawer and a beautiful bunch of colored zippers!

stockings

The stockings WERE hung on the [banister] with care...and I already miss them, sniff. I've been coveting these for years so I finally decided to do something about it this year. They are a far cry from the originals, but I like them. Especially full of chocolate.
